FSM MEMBERSHIP - PROCEDURES & TERMS & CONDITIONS
The Federation of Sabah Manufacturers was registered under the Companies Act, 1965 as a "Company Limited By Guarantee without share capital". Registration under the Companies Act shall give the Federation wider scope and authority for operation and at the same time liability of the members is limited.
Membership Eligibility
Any company, partnership or sole proprietor carrying on business as a manufacturer in Sabah is eligible to become an Ordinary Member of the Federation of Sabah Manufacturers.
Association of firms or companies manufacturing products in Malaysia may also be admitted to the Federation as an Associate Member.
Entrance Fee & Subscription (Valid Until 31st December 2008)
An Ordinary Member has to pay an entrance fee of RM500.00. Annual subscriptions, payable in advance, will be levied in accordance with the following scale:

An Associate Member has to pay an entrance fee pf RM500.00 and an annual subscription of RM500.00 payable in advance.
Application Procedure
Application for membership should be made by completing the application form attached and submitting it to the Executive Secretary of FSM, P.O.Box 10686, 88807 Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia with a crossed cheque for the total amount for the annual subscription for your company based on its issued capital and RM500.00 as payment for the entrance fee. Applicants experiencing difficulty in finding a proposer and seconder from existing FSM members are to contact the FSM Office for assistance.
